| The 1000th issue of Rolling Stone needed a cover as spectacular as the milestone itself. It was decided that a lenticular cover would best fulfill this requirement. 3-D printing was foreign to us and we needed to find a vendor that could lead us through this new territory. National Graphics, Inc. was chosen because, of all the vendors interviewed, they conveyed the understanding that this project was special and they assured us that they would devote all their resources to making it successful.
They lived up to that promise. The technically savvy and creatively gifted folks at National Graphics took our design and optimized it for the lenticular process, rendering special effects that added richness and depth. They worked side by side with our creative team ensuring that each of the 150-plus elements would stand out alone while still working together as a composite image. The result was a breathtaking cover that indeed lived up to the expectations we had for it. We could not have accomplished this without the help of National Graphics’ patented Extreme Vision® lenticular imaging technology. They were the only choice.
