Continuous Lenticular Image Label Web Patent Awarded

National Graphics, Inc. was recently awarded U.S. Patent Number 7,212,346 titled “Continuous Lenticular Image Label Web”.

This invention is for a method of making Lenticular Labels in web rolls. To date, the method required to produce Lenticular Roll Labels has been to print the lenticular images via sheet-fed, trim the elements into predetermined units, then place the units (on-sert) onto a web of label material. These were then converted to roll labels. The new invention allows the manufacturing of labels in a continuous web format without the need of the additional step of on-serting, therefore providing a more cost effective method of manufacturing.

This patent is further supported by U.S. Patent Number 6,490,092 titled “Multidimensional Imaging on a Curved Surface Using Lenticular Lenses”, U.S. Patent Number 6,424,467 titled “High Definition Lenticular Lens”, U.S. Patent Numbers 5,266,995-5,285,238-5,457,515 titled “Method for Forming a Graphic Image Web”, U.S. Patent Number 7,136,185 titled “Corresponding Lenticular Imaging”, U.S. Patent Number 6,974,080 titled “Lenticular Bar Code Image”, and other Patents and Patents Pending.

Pioneers in lenticular image production, National Graphics places high priority on advancing the lenticular industry through research and development.
