Lenticular Lens Direction
Choosing the Correct Lens Orientation
Horizontal Lens Direction
| • |
The horizontal lens direction is the best choice for motion images. |
| • |
The horizontal lens direction is the best choice for flip images. |
Vertical Lens Direction
| • |
Most of our work is done with the vertical lens direction. |
| • |
Don’t use the horizontal lens direction for “walk-by” displays or posters; use the vertical lens direction. |
| • |
3D works best with the vertical lens direction. |
Caution:If you use a horizontal lens direction for a “walk-by” display or poster, you will have to jump up and down to see the effect. Using a vertical lens direction easily solves this problem. |
Special Builders Tip:
If you need to combine motion with 3D (or a flip with 3D,) it is necessary to use a vertical lens to get the best 3D image. |
